NICEIC

Enrolment No: 501036000 NICEIC is the UK electrical contracting industry’s independent voluntary body. They offer leading certification services, Building Regulations Schemes, products and support to electrical contractors and many other trades within the construction industry. NICEIC registration not only demonstrates to customers our skills and professionalism, it also gives them peace of mind that our products and services are the best in the industry. The NICEIC look at a representative sample of our work, premises, documentation, equipment, and the competence of our key supervisory staff.

MCS

Registration No: NIC1935 The MCS is an internationally recognised, renewable energy specific quality assurance scheme which demonstrates to our customers that we are committed to meeting rigorous and tested standards. It was designed with input from installer and product representatives. Similar to the Gas Safe Register, the MCS accreditation gives us AC Gold Electrical Services Ltd a mark of competency and demonstrates to our customers that we install to the highest quality every time. Using an MCS approved contractor is the only way to guarantee that you will receive the Feed In Tariff for your new installation.

CHAS

Each month thousands of contractors apply for work with public and private sectors To win work, they must meet the buyer’s health and safety standards. Assessing suppliers health and safety competence is usually a lengthy and time consuming process. Suppliers can sometimes meet one buyer’s Health and Safety standards but not another. Being CHAS approved reduces duplication as suppliers compliance is accepted by all CHAS buyers. CHAS assesses applicants on:
  • Health and safety policy statement;
  • Their organisation for health and safety;
  • Their specific health and safety arrangements to a standard acceptable to our buyers and to others.
AC Gold Electrical Services Ltd are assessed annual by CHAS and this is a credit to the level of Health and Safety displayed on site.

RECC

Membership No: 00043268 The aim of the Renewable Energy Consumer Code (RECC) is to ensure that consumers wishing to install a small-scale heat or power generation unit for their homes have the necessary confidence and service standards so that they can make an informed choice. Members are firms selling or leasing small-scale renewable or low carbon heat or power generation unitS who have agreed to comply with the Renewable Energy Consumer Code. The Code is backed by the Trading Standards Institute (TSI) as part of a self-regulation initiative, the Consumer Codes Approval Scheme. TSI has set out the core criteria for consumer codes in its Core Criteria and Guidance.
